Patrick Nerney was born in New York City. He earned his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Niagara University, Niagara Falls, New York in 1981.
Following graduation from college, he entered the construction industry where he became a certified elevator adjuster. While working full time in the construction industry he acquired a master’s degree in Labor Relations from New York Institute of Technology with a specialization in Arbitration. Thereafter, he received a law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctorate in 1991.
In 1991 he left the construction industry to work for the law firm of Geringer & Dolan specializing in construction litigation. After three years at G&D he went to work for law firm of Cullen & Dyckman located in Brooklyn, New York. He then crossed over the river to work for the personal injury law firm of Robert A. Hofmann, P.A. located in Middlesex County New Jersey. Patrick has served as both the public defender and the Environmental Commissioner for the borough of Ramsey, New Jersey for the last 10 years.
Patrick is admitted to the Bars of New Jersey and New York and the federal courts for New Jersey and both the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York. Patrick specializes in auto and other personal injury law, products liability, insurance law, premises liability law and real estate.
