Nelly Coronado was born and raised in northern California, where she attended the University of California, Santa Cruz, and obtained her B.A. in Politics and Latin American Studies. She then attended the Beasley School of Law at Temple University, where she was actively involved in the Latinx American Law Student Association and the Tax and Bankruptcy Law Society. While there, she was also a student advocate with Temple’s Low-Income Taxpayer Clinic, where she assisted low-income clients in resolving various tax issues.
Prior to joining Kent McBride, Nelly served as Judicial Law Clerk for the Honorable Kay Yu, in the First Judicial District of Pennsylvania, Court of Common Pleas, where she drafted trial court opinions for cases on appeal, as well as pre-trial decisions. She also interned two summers at a mid-sized all-practice firm in Philadelphia, gaining experience in a wide variety of matters, including aviation, worker’s compensation, and criminal appellate work.
Nelly is licensed to practice in New Jersey and is an active member of the New Jersey Bar Association.
