Dylan J. Sheaffer is an associate attorney at Kent McBride’s Cherry Hill office. He earned his Juris Doctorate from Drexel University’s Kline School of Law. In addition to his legal education, Dylan gained valuable experience during his clerkship with Wheeler, DiUlio, & Barnabei. He also worked for Drexel Law’s Community Lawyering Clinic, where he advocated on behalf of clients in need of legal services in Drexel’s neighboring communities.
After graduating law school, Dylan worked as a law clerk to Julia A. Werner-Simon, Esq. researching and writing on the recent changes of Marijuana Laws in New Jersey and across the country and how cannabis legalization has affected businesses and opened market opportunities.
Prior to joining Kent McBride, Dylan served as Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable George H. Gangloff Jr., in the New Jersey Superior Court – Criminal Division. In his role as Judge Gangloff’s law clerk, Dylan researched constitutional law issues such as Miranda rights, unlawful search and seizures, and inadmissibility of evidence deriving from Fourth Amendment “fruit of the poisonous tree” legal challenges. Dylan also drafted countless orders and legal opinions and assisted court personnel and counsel with case management.
Dylan is licensed to practice law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania.
