David Malatesta, Jr., graduated from the University of Delaware (B.A., Criminal Justice, 1994) and Widener University School of Law (J.D., 1997). Upon graduation, David joined the firm of Tomar Simonoff and worked as an associate out of its Delaware office, practicing in both state and federal courts in Delaware. After joining Kent/McBride in the summer of 2001, David played a key role in the opening of the firm’s Delaware office in the fall of 2001.
David is admitted to the Bars of Delaware, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland, and specializes in products liability, premises liability, construction claims, toxic tort litigation, and general insurance liability claims. David continues to practice in all state and federal courts throughout Delaware, and has successfully handled multiple jury trials to verdict. He has managed the Wilmington, Delaware office of Kent/McBride since 2001.
